Beka Joy Hull
Beka Joy spent her childhood in the small town of Jennings, Louisiana, and moved to Dallas, Texas, after high school to pursue her undergraduate degree. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Dallas Christian College, she took a leap of faith and spent the following year serving with The World Race to 11 countries in 11 months.
Upon completing this adventure, Beka started her career hoping to support organizations who not only help others, but also serve God. From her time as a college recruiter to her most recent job as a fitness studio manager, a few things have remained the same: her love of people, travel, and God. This has led her to serve with organizations such as Initiative Network, Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, The Branch Church, and more.
After a college missionary internship, Beka Joy found herself traveling back to the tiny town of San Raymundo, Guatemala, home of Morning Glory Christian Academy. Eventually, God opened the door for her and a small group of friends to create an organization to serve Morning Glory, as well as lift up local leaders. Throughout years of service, they saw a need, not to come in with the answers or do all the work, but to grow the good work God was already doing. CEIBA VIDA International was formed from this vision and Beka Joy proudly served as the first Executive Director. In early 2018, she transitioned out of the organization to pursue what God had next for her.
