Will You Stand

Will you stand before the Lord,   with your out stretched hands

Or will you wander aimlessly,   upon the barren lands

Will you stand in your belief,   when the storms of life do come

Or fold up like a paper,   when your days are done

Will you stand upon the Rock,  and cling to what is true

Or do you stumble fall and waver when,  lifes attacking you

Will you stand with armor on,  prepared for battle sure

Or in weakness run and hide,   never holding what is pure

Will this world over take you,  in it’s wicked ways

Or do you Stand in reassurance knowing,  Jesus calms the waves

Can you stand amongst the heathen,  as a beacon in the night

Or has darkness over taken you,  the world be your delight

Do you stand in Holy Scripture,   knowing of Christ’s ways

Or stumble through a darkened world without clear path,   no guidance for your day

Will you stand for truth and righteousness,  the narrow gate your goal

Or sojourn a wide and easy way,  ending up in Sheol

Men write follow every doctrine,  filling mans desires

Or do you hold yourself to the word of God,  through Him are you inspired

Will you stand and walk the narrow path,   and go from dust to Glory

Or will it be from dust to ash,  is that your ending story?
